Alright so last week we posted an XT kill a DAY before it got nerfed to be stupidly easy. At the same time they nerfed 4 tower Flame Leviathan to be just as stupid apparently. Admittedly we had only killed 3 towers before the nerf but wow it’s easier to kill 4 tower then 2 use to be. Took us a few try’s total after NEVER trying 4 before to kill it. Not too proud of that kill but what can you do we don’t control when they make things easy! Here you go....
Almost not worth the screen shot but got to keep up appearances you know, congrats to everyone for working REALLY hard on 2 or 3 attempts and getting that beast down... Don't expect a video of this one it was really not worth the time to edit. Moving on to things that do actually matter, we also ONE SHOT Thorim hard mode the same day. Again I was not in for the kill so I can only assume Rahjen used some kind of exploit to kill him so quickly. He also took days to get me this screenshot of the kill....
As I mentioned I had my doubts about this kill, so using some high powered software I dug into the images history and found some disturbing changes had been made to this photo before it was sent to me. I can't in good conscience post the kill shot without posting the REAL kill shot because the public has a right to know. Again I was not present for this kill so if blizzards reading this you know who to ban and who to leave alone!
Id like to start today's update with a little history lesson about our fine guild. We have a tendency to get very close to killing a boss (1-3% wipes) and then lose focus and take several more weeks to kill something for the first time. We have worked on SEVERAL hard modes that you have not seen updates for yet that had we remained focused we would likely have downed already. This week however we decided to break tradition and kill something by giving it our full attention. A day and a half of not very close attempts later (lowest was 35% or so) we somehow pulled off one of the most epic wins I have ever been a part of. While XT is certainly not the hardest boss we will defeat in Ulduar on hard mode it is the kill I'm most proud of because we went above what we normally do and achieved our goal quickly. The kill was not pretty but I promise you the video is worth a watch, a kill can be no closer then this. XT was nerfed the day after our kill so its not likely to be this close again!

Hopefully we can continue to focus and get a second hard mode down this week, we have our sights set on one so we shall see.
(I was going to make an update that involved making fun of half the guild for being the first time they broke anyone's heart but the win was just too epic)
So the last few weeks we have been working on hard modes. We have gotten a few down but in true warfare fashion we had a few bumps along the way. First up was Hodir which we would have gotten a week sooner but we had a slight mishap on a three minute two second kill with one of our feral DPS. As luck would have it I got a screen shot of the problem so other guilds won't make the same mistake:
It turns out its harder to kill things without weapons, tell your friends! But the following reset we made sure everyone had weapons and sure enough it helps:
After Hodir we decided we should try to kill the iron council on hard mode. Sadly for us we missed the window of opportunity to get a free kill as Lasider's void walker refused to do the dirty work for us. :(
Yes I know what your thinking, feral druids and void walkers DO use way to many Z's when they talk in text it's crazy. Anyway we did it the legit way which was actually pretty hardmodeariffic
We are currently working on several more hard modes and I expect to be updating again next reset with another kill or two. Until then I wanted to take a minute and give some credit to a local film director/actor. Our very own Rommulox has been directing AND acting in several high quality movies lately so I thought I would maybe pitch the movies and let you all get to know him a little better.
